Check for tears in your weather strip around the door. If not it's the door seal around the glass. I've seen trucks that get detailed alot go through this from improper removal

Ever door has drain plugs at the bottom its literally just holes drilled at the bottom... yours might be clogged you can see it dripping from the holes just clean them out. Youll be good.

Bro it's true all ford hold water in the doors u need to clean the drain at the bottom of the door right under the plug u was messing with clean that drain and u will be good for about 6 months until u gotta clean it again

You need to take the rubber plugs out. If I remember right, when i worked for Ford we had a recall to do just that, and so does the manufacturer I work for now. Same recall essentially, the weep holes get clogged and pulling the rubber plugs just makes the weep hole larger.

My wife's Expedition does the same. We drain it the same way also.

Do you have to downshift all the way to first gear from 6th gear in order to make an emergency stop? It seems highly unlikely i would be able to downshift all those gears smoothly in an emergency stop situation.

This happened to me in my 2015 f150 😂 I had big wheels -51 offset and it had rained a ton and I drove through some big puddles really fast and exactly same scenario where I saw water and said wtf? And shut my door and heard water.
